3. Service Agreement
Quotations
- All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
- Prices include VAT where applicable
- Additional costs may apply for unforeseen complications
- Final pricing confirmation requires site survey
Installation Services
- All installations comply with UK electrical regulations (BS 7671)
- Work performed by NICEIC certified electricians
- Full electrical certification provided upon completion
- Customer responsible for ensuring suitable access and conditions
4. Payment Terms
- Residential: 50% deposit, 50% on completion
- Commercial: Payment terms as agreed in contract
- Emergency services: Payment due within 7 days
- Late payments: 2% monthly interest may apply
- Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, credit/debit cards, cheque
5. Warranties and Guarantees
Installation Warranty
- 2-year warranty on all installation work
- Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment
- Warranty covers defects in workmanship
- Excludes damage from misuse or external factors
Equipment Warranty
- Manufacturer warranties range from 2-5 years
- We facilitate warranty claims on your behalf
- Replacement equipment provided for valid warranty claims
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate property and electrical information
- Ensure safe access to installation areas
- Obtain necessary planning permissions if required
- Inform us of any changes to requirements
- Follow operating instructions and safety guidelines
- Report faults or issues promptly
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited as follows:
- Maximum liability limited to the contract value
- We are not liable for consequential or indirect losses
- Liability excludes losses due to third-party actions
- Insurance coverage available for additional protection
- Consumer rights under UK law are not affected
8. Safety and Compliance
Health and Safety
- All work complies with current health and safety regulations
- Risk assessments conducted for all installations
- Customers must report any safety concerns immediately
Electrical Compliance
- All installations meet BS 7671 (18th Edition) requirements
- Building regulations compliance where applicable
- DNO notifications submitted as required
9. Cancellation and Changes
Customer Cancellation
- 7-day cooling-off period for residential customers
- Cancellation fees may apply for work already commenced
- Materials ordered cannot be returned unless faulty
Service Changes
- Changes to scope require written agreement
- Additional costs apply for scope increases
- We reserve the right to refuse unreasonable changes
